Holiday craziness, Happenings & Daddy's Home!

So, I know it's been quite a while since my last post. Oops!! It's been a busy couple of months around here. From traveling to visit Chris in Colorado and family in Albuquerque, celebrating Thanksgiving, mommy meet-ups, Christmas shopping, babysitting and of course, chasing after Miss Rylie --- it's been a little busy. But our December began with the best present of all: Daddy came home!! We are crossing our fingers that he will be able to stay for a good long while (like hopefully longer than a month or so). It's been really nice having him home, and just in time for the holidays! Ok, so to wrap up the past couple months, here we go:

We had the pleasure of seeing Peepaw Tad, Nana Jeanette and Dina for Thanksgiving also!
And although I don't have pictures of their visit up here right now, we had some great photos taken by a photographer friend of mine (can't wait to post them up!)

And Chris got home just in time to take some family photos for Christmas! :)

And as for me, I can now proudly say that I have run my first 5K race and kicked butt!
Finished in 30:02! Now to sign up for my next one... hehe!

Keeping busy while missing Daddy...

It's almost Halloween, I can't believe it! The days seem to just be flying by so quickly, and the holidays are approaching! It's hard to believe that we haven't gotten to see Chris since the beginning of September, and it's probably a good thing we are so busy, it makes it a tiny bit easier (but not by much, we miss him terribly!) Rylie will ask me at least twice a day to "See Dada?" I have to explain that he's taking care of us, working hard on the Choo-Choo train! :) We are hoping come November, we will be able to head down and visit. It will be nice to see some cooler weather, as we are still pretty hot here right now! So, here's what we've been busy doing lately...

Snapshots of September

September is here and we have been busy! From Chris traveling back to Trinidad, CO for his job to having many visitors this month already, and much more traveling to come... here are a few snapshots of our month so far.

This reminds me that I need to get my camera out more often, I've been slacking!
