Holidays and new visitors!

I cannot believe a month has flown by since my last post! These girls keep this momma BUSY that's for sure! The countdown to Christmas is on, and we are so excited to see Rylie at Christmas this year (now that she understands it more!) Should be fun to see her tear those presents apart! But being able to spend holidays with our family here is priceless, we wish all of our family could be here to spend it with us. But at least we've gotten to see some of them recently - Aunt Sarah and Aunt Laura came to meet baby Lillian and spend time with Rylie a few weekends ago, and my dad and Jeanette came just this last weekend. It's been a busy couple of weeks, and I'll let the pictures do most of the talking...

Rylie actually helped decorate the tree this year! Love it!

Daddy surprised us all by showing up for Thanksgiving dinner!

Rylie showing Aunt Laura all her Lalaloopsy dolls, such a trooper Laura!

Family photo idea FAIL! Haha!

Melts my heart.

So sweet :)

I think I have an exact same photo with dad and Rylie, haha!

Three weeks in...

Three weeks old, already!?? Where does the time go! Our little Lilly-bug is just as sweet as ever, she's proven to be a very good baby so far. Hopefully she stays that way! We are still adjusting to her days and nights being a little confused... she sleeps super sound during the day and then keeps me up a lot at night, pretty much waking up every two hours to eat. It's been pretty rough, especially since Rylie doesn't nap anymore these days. But we're pushing through, one day at a time! Lillian is exclusively breastfeeding, which I am thrilled about! It's going well, and definitely was a learning process! Rylie is proving to be a very good big sister, she's very gentle with her and loves copying her facial expressions and little sounds that Lilly makes - it's very cute. Now we are just enjoying our girls, the great Arizona weather and time with family :) Can't wait to see our extended families soon for visits!

Introducing...

This little girl has completely captured our hearts, and she's only been here for five days! She has the sweetest temperament, the cutest little squeaky cry, and those little bitty lips that already form into smiles every once in a while. It must be the second time around that you start to appreciate every single moment, even those middle of the night waking moments, because you know this time goes WAY too fast, and they are big babies before you even realize it! Right now this girl sleeps a ton (I know, won't last!), doesn't mind her sister's touches and kisses, and seems totally happy just lounging away in her little swing bassinet while the house continues on around her like normal. We are so very blessed, and thank you to all for your sweet words and wishes!

Now, ask me in a week when Chris is back at work and we will see how peaceful it is around here! I'm hoping for the best! ;) At least Lilly has a great big sis who has been willing to help momma out when she needs it!

Looking back....

As the moment approaches to our second daughter's upcoming birth, I found myself looking back at old pictures of Rylie as a tiny little one... feels so long ago, but yet, not so long ago really. I thought I would share some cute moments of Rylie's first month :)

Oh, and we are at 10 days or less here (not that I'm counting or anything!)
