After a couple busy weekends...

Time flies when you're having fun! That is definitely true in our house right now... we've totally been enjoying some time off, spending time with family and friends, and of course each other! Both Chris and I have some job employment in the works, but until then we are taking advantage of learning our new town and spending lazy days with Rylie. My mom, Rylie and I drove down to Albuquerque a couple weekends ago to attend my Uncle Ken's wedding. It was really fun and a beautiful wedding, and I of course relish any opportunity to dress my little princess up!

Then this last weekend, our awesome friends from Las Cruces drove up to visit! We had a blast hanging out, shopping, and having some much needed silly fun at Dave & Busters! We can't wait to hang out again - will mostly likely be our turn to drive down to Cruces!

On another note, Rylie is doing some cute things lately - one of which being sticking out her tongue at us! She's also grabbing at EVERYTHING in sight and trying to bite on it (darn those two top teeth... grrr... teething is not fun!) So here's Miss "I need a bib 24/7!"

Finally... a moment... to sit down and get my internet fix for what feels like forever I've been disconnected (ok, really it was only a week but it feels like forever!) Things have been pretty busy around here lately, getting unpacked and settled in and having to remind ourselves everyday that we are in fact living in Arizona! There is so much that we want to see and do around here, and haven't yet had a chance to. It's been fun getting out and driving around, getting to know the area better and see what's close. Chris went to his first job training/orientation today, and is pretty pumped about it! I started working part time for my mom, and have been looking for something else part time (hopefully close!) in the meantime. It's been nice having some time off to spend with the family and get the house "home ready". I will have more pictures later, but here are some I've taken lately of our new pad.

Hi everyone - and sorry for the late post! We got to Phoenix late Sunday night, after an extremely long and slow drive (thanks to the U-Haul). However, the trip was made somewhat more pleasant by Aunt Tracy and Great-Aunt Denise, who took Rylie up to Phoenix for us last Thursday. So Chris and I were able to pack the rest of the house and make the drive without also having to take care of our sweet but sometimes needy daughter. (The three dogs and two cats were great on the drive by the way!) The packing went pretty well, I am still amazed by how much stuff we had in that house, but we got it to fit in the U-Haul and our truck - and it was much easier to unpack of course! Haha.. we are still trying to put the house together and work on getting connected to the world (internet). So hopefully I can have some pics soon of our new place! Now on to the job hunt for me - wish me luck that I find something perfect and part-time (hehe). Chris starts training next week at his sales job!
